PODCASTS IN EFL: THE VIEWS OF PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS

Podcasts are popular among listeners of all ages. In addition to being educational and entertaining, they a source authentic language, featuring diverse range speakers, which makes them highly effective in language teaching. The advantages using podcasts FL teaching learning have been documented across different domains. Additionally, the use can positive impact on learners' emotional traits such as motivation, self-confidence, attitudes. It also serves foundation for independent lifelong learning. Therefore, it is crucial thoroughly investigate assess from perspective teachers maximize their potential resources. To achieve this, pre-service observed both learners teachers, evaluating materials English Foreign Language (EFL). first section this paper provides an overview research involving foreign learners’ listening speaking skills, lexical development, intercultural communicative competence. primary objective views attitudes regarding implementation EFL, presented second part. findings revealed that extensively exposed private time, particularly English. majority participants self-reported certain improvements could be attributed podcast consumption. All shared attitude toward future EFL standpoint granting some boundaries when considering ages grade levels students.
